Duties and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Teach 4-5 graduate courses in natural resource management, including but not limited to the following courses: Nature-based Solutions for Natural Resources Management; Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services; Forestry and REDD+; Resources Assessment and Mapping; and Natural Resources Management Field Laboratory.
- Engage in research supervision of Master and Ph.D students, as well as postdocs and other research staff as necessary.
- Publish research results in peer-reviewed reputed journals with colleagues and students.
- Take initiatives in bringing sponsored research projects and developing cooperative links to partners.
- Be involved in the conduct of training programs, workshops, Hackathon, and other capacity building activities supported by regional or international agencies in both the public and private sectors.
- Provide administrative services to the academic program, department, school, task force, and institute.
