Organization: Seminole Tribe of Florida Position: Climate Resiliency Officer Duty Station: Hollywood, Florida, US Deadline for Application: until suitable applicant is found

Term: Full Time Experience Requirements: Doctoral or Master’s degree in climatology with emphasis on climate change, Global Sustainability, meteorology, atmospheric science, Environmental Science or closely related subject is required. A minimum of five (5) years of experience working with Tribal, Federal, State, or local Governments in Climate Science is required. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered. The incumbent must possess a valid Florida driver’s license. Proficiency with Microsoft software packages (especially Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Explorer, and Power Point) and a willingness to learn GIS and document management software is required. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, to be able to explain complex climate change issues and resiliency processes to a wide range of audiences. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well as part of a multicultural interdisciplinary team.
