Organization: Dewberry Position: Coastal Resilience Planner Duty Station: Fairfax, VA/Washington, DC or Remote, US, US Deadline for Application: until suitable applicant is found

Experience Requirements: Required: 2-7 years of professional experience; Bachelor’s in Planning, Coastal Science, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or another related field with a focus on coastal community resilience; Ability to effectively communicate orally and in written and visual formats technical information related to coastal flood hazards and resilience in projects, presentations, and papers; Experience researching, planning, and developing operational and tactical plans, policies, procedures, and guidance to promote coastal flood resilience and mitigation; Comfort working with large geospatial datasets and performing or directing quantitative analyses. Preferred: Master’s degree; Certified Floodplain Manager or AICP; Knowledge and ability to use the following computer applications: Tableau, Power BI, ArcMap/ArcPro, ArcGIS Online, Adobe InDesign, and other data processing, visualization, and design tools.
