Organization: Australia Pacific Climate Partnership Support Unit Position: Health Climate Change Expert Duty Station: Remote/ Own office Deadline for Application: 31 January 2019

Term: Draw-down contract over 12 months Experience Requirements: Tertiary qualifications relevant to health sector service delivery, public health, health policy, development and/or governance 2. Minimum 15 years’ experience in health, and (preferably) the intersection of health and climate change in a Pacific context 3. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of DFAT aid policies and strategies, and other relevant Australian Government policies 4. Proven ability to conduct analytical studies and synthesis of knowledge in the health sector (preferably in a Pacific context), to produce tailored information products for specific audiences, and to work with stakeholders to develop practical solutions to fill gaps and address barriers and challenges 5. Demonstrated ability to work with and provide advisory services, coaching and mentoring to people from diverse backgrounds, perspectives and sectors, and a professional commitment to promote a culture of gender equality and social inclusion 6.
