GAIA has grown rapidly from a $1.2 million organization to a nearly $7.5 million organization over the last six years and has exciting growth opportunities on the horizon. Along with maintaining GAIAs current institutional grant support, prospective funding opportunities are significant, and we are excited for the right candidate to be part of a team making major contributions to grassroots organizing for waste and climate justice globally.
The Institutional Giving Manager is responsible for sustaining and advancing the current institutional grant support to GAIA. This role manages and executes the full cycle of GAIAs institutional grant-seeking activities, including but not limited to inquiry, proposal development and submission, reporting, and renewals. While this position primarily focuses on secured funding and established donor relationships, the Institutional Giving Manager may also help with individual donor programming or institutional donor prospecting, depending on skills, experience, and interest. A highly collaborative role, the Institutional Giving Manager works closely with GAIA leadership, program leads, and others on the development team to align proposals with organizational and programmatic needs and capacities. This position reports to the Director of Development.
