Organization: Coalition for Rainforest Nations Position: LULUCF GHGI Expert Duty Station: New York City, US Deadline for Application: until suitable applicant is found

Term: : 2 years upon the completion of a 3-month trial period. Extension will be based on performance. Hiring foreseen indicatively for mid-September 2020 Experience Requirements: • Highly motivated individual with excellent interpersonal abilities; • Strong quantitative skills; • International experience working with governments is highly desirable; • Deep knowledge of REDD+ decisions under the UNFCCC and the Paris Agreement; • Being an active member of the UNFCCC roster of experts is a plus; • Availability to travel internationally is a requirement; • Demonstrable 5-10 years of experience in preparing national GHG inventories and implementing IPCC guidance and best practices; • Experience in preparing FREL/FRL and/or Technical Annexes with REDD+ results; • Background in data analysis of forest inventory data is desirable; • Experience in international capacity building projects is desirable; • Experience in FAO’s Collect Earth is a plus; • Working knowledge of English is a minimum requirement; • Proficiency in French is a requirement.
