Term: one-year termed appointment, with the potential for renewal Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, natural science, or social science field required. Master’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Global Development, Sustainable Development, International Affairs, Public Policy, or related field strongly preferred. Strong academic record essential, having excelled at econometrics and statistical coursework. Minimum of two years of work experience in empirical research and quantitative data analysis, potentially including previous experience working as a research assistant with a professor. Special Requirements: Proficiency in Stata and ArcGIS required, and R highly desirable, with experience and confidence in accurately manipulating and analyzing large datasets. Knowledge of SPSS, LaTeX/LyX, Python, and Matlab a plus. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills are important for the role. Ability and willingness to organize information, undertake research assignments with minimal supervision, work well under pressure with discretion and mature judgement, collaborate with diverse colleagues, and meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced work environment are all essential.
