Experience Requirements: Work with Senior Director on international climate cooperation programs. Coordinate corporate engagement commitments to support renewable energy and climate change commitments and programs from US and international non-governmental actors including large corporations, small and medium enterprises, state governments, universities, faith-based groups and cultural institutions. Develop and update renewable energy and climate program plans and track the implementation of tasks. Oversee communications with global and regional partners. Conduct applied research on international and national climate actions (policies and practices) that will reduce greenhouse gas emissions, prepare for climate impacts, and help national governments in the implementation of the Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) under the Paris Agreement. Develop technical/policy and communications briefs, as well as guidelines for the implementation of climate programs. Represent WWF-US at meetings with U.S. Government agencies, members of Congress, the NGO and business community, the general public, and within the WWF Network. Oversee new and ongoing climate-related projects and grants. Work with project personnel, grantees, consultants, and others to facilitate coordination, communication, and regular reporting. Develop and analyze project work plans and grant budgets. Monitor and analyze new technical information, policy development issues, and trends related to WWF-US’ climate goals. Links Job Announcement:
