Are you passionate about making a tangible difference in global climate action and justice? We are seeking an exceptional professional to spearhead our efforts in strengthening the delivery of the Paris Agreement. This role is critical as we approach COP30 and aim to drive significant next steps towards action and justice.

Mission:
• NDC Diplomacy & Paris Agreement Implementation: Enhance the impact of NDCs through bilateral diplomatic dialogues, the Mission 1.5 initiative, and the valorization of the COP28 Global Stocktake.
• International Cooperation for Mitigation & Adaptation: Support national policies with a focus on mutually beneficial solutions, intelligent international collaboration, and ensuring a just transition and resilience.
• Engage with Developing Oil & Gas Producers: Lead efforts in research, mini-lateral dialogues, and partnership development to ensure a just and equitable phase-out of fossil fuels, aligned with the 1.5ºC target.

Special Requirements
• Educational Background: Master’s or PhD in social studies, economics of climate change and/or energy, or development studies. • Professional Experience: At least 10 years in think tanks, academia, private sector, or government, focusing on sustainable development, environmental justice, and climate change. • Global South Experience: Practical experience working in the Global South is preferred. • Process Management Skills: Proven track record in managing research partnerships and stakeholder processes in an international context. • Motivation & Drive: A strong desire to create change and leverage knowledge and networks to advance climate action and justice agendas. • Team Player: Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in an international, multicultural environment.
