Your responsibilities include
- Leading Agora’s activities for the global steel transformation, and representing Agora towards stakeholders and decision makers;
- Developing and implementing the research agenda on the key drivers for a successful steel transformation;
- Coordinating research projects and writing policy proposals with a focus on industrial policies, economics and trade regulations as well as technical solutions. This includes the moderation of internal and external processes with various stakeholders and the overseeing of technical work performed by consultants;
- Initiating and implementing new projects, in close consultation with partners, founders and external technical consultants;
- Managing project budgets; and actively contributing to Agora’s business and strategy development;
- Potentially managing a small team;
- Closely cooperating with colleagues within Agora as well as through our international partner network.

We are looking for
- A strong desire to actively shape the global industry transformation;
A degree and at least eight years of relevant work experience in or with industry, - Profound expertise in the steel transformation, including policy instruments and processes, technical solutions and trade regulations;
- A significant network relevant for the industrial transition, and the ability to be a highly credible representative toward Agora’s partners and policy-makers at a senior level;
- Experience in guiding complex cooperation projects with multiple (international) stakeholders and networks;
- Experience with managing grants and budgets;
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, ability to present analytical and research material;
- Willingness to travel internationally;
- Fluency in English; German and other language skills are a plus.
