About The Role

This is a new, senior level role who will make our partnerships and grantmaking more strategic. This position will serve as key oversight of partnerships, regranting, reporting on our ecosystem, and leading key cross-team grants to ensure our grantmaking is aligned with strategy, our partnership principles, and that we’re supporting our partners, teams, and network to succeed.

Key Responsibilities
Lead on work across the Global Finance team to ensure strategic partnerships and grants. Co-design, oversee and manage the updated grantmaking process and practices, ensuring smooth transitions and designing deep connections between grantmaking and strategy development.

Design and implement needed trainings, support spaces, resources and materials for all of Global Finance to support grantmaking shifts, including creating and implementing shared principles and practices to ensure we’re making grants aligned with project strategy, partner capacity, and ecosystem gaps including winddowns and exits.

Collaborate with senior leadership on finessing and implementing movement metrics that measure building and leveraging power and implement these across the Global Finance team.

Train the Global Finance team to implement and socialise movement metrics and strategic partnerships practices including measuring current strategic capacities, understanding partner’s future growth goals on areas, etc.

Lead reporting and analysis, including implementation support of a program wide CRM and producing reports for the SOL team, funders, and other stakeholders as needed.

Special Requirements
– At least 7 years experience in grantmaking in a philanthropic space (funder and/or regranter) and/or direct and substantial experience fundraising for an NGO – Advanced level experience in developing trainings, resources, and supporting people to use them – Strong understanding of strategic grant-making – Embodied ability to build relationships based on trust, consistent communication, address tension, work through challenges across teams, and support partners and teams to succeed – Proven experience in technical outputs, including demonstrated experience in data management, report pulling, list management, data cleaning, and reporting. Direct experience in HubSpot or similar CRM preferred. – Experience training stakeholders of all levels in grantmaking and/or campaign concepts – Demonstrated strong project management skills and balancing changing priorities – Proven experience collaborating with people across different backgrounds and locations – Capacity to translate reports into consumable information Understanding of how social movements operate to make change Job requirements – You must have full working rights in the country in which you will be working.
