In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of powerful digital and engagement strategies that mobilise supporters, build communities, and amplify the voices driving change in our global projects. You will complement existing team strengths by working closely with campaigners, communicators, and engagement specialists to tell engaging stories that take people from awareness to action, and from clicks to collective power.
In this role you will:
• Advise on or propose digital campaigns that inspire participation, deepen engagement, and deliver tangible impact globally.
• Integrate storytelling and narrative framing into digital campaigning to grow community, hope, and courage in our audiences.
• Use data and audience insights to test, learn, and optimise strategies that connect people meaningfully to Greenpeace’s global campaigns.
• Act as a connector/bridge between global teams and NROs.
• Build capacity and collaboration by supporting National and Regional Organisations (NROs) to strengthen their digital campaigning, engagement, and mobilisation capabilities.
• Co-create campaigns with NROs and building community across regions – working across cultures and timezones.
• Foster a culture of innovation and inclusion, connecting online and offline activism, and promoting safe and creative digital practices.
• Champion an audience-centric approach, helping Greenpeace reach new audiences and deepen relationships with existing supporters, volunteers, and allies.
