The greenwerk. is looking for a highly motivated, skilled and communicative individual to join our team in Hamburg as an Advisor – Climate Mitigation and Finance (m/f/d). We offer flexible and open working surroundings in a dynamic market for climate change mitigation solutions.
Your tasks:
– Project management, overseeing of project processes, communication with clients and coordination of stakeholder engagement processes
– Elaboration of funding proposals for international donors and climate funds (Green Climate Fund (GCF), Global Environment Facility (GEF), Mitigation Action Facility (MAF), etc.)
– Determination, calculation and evaluation of GHG emission reductions
– Support of GCF Readiness and Support Programme Activities
– Advising ministries and implementing / donor organizations on international climate policy and climate finance
– Support and processing of various advisory / research / analytical activities on aspects of international climate policy and finance
– Working in partnership with our international clients, including on-site assignments (mainly in the Global South)
– Various activities in acquisition processes and business development
