The Consultant will provide technical expertise to the Climate Ambition and Transparency Team to achieve this main goal:
● Improve the materials of the online course ´From Zero to Expert: Carbon Markets´. Outputs and Deliverables Output 1: Improved and finalized materials of the online course ´From Zero to Expert: Carbon Markets´, including, videos, slide decks, website text, scripts, captions, assessments quizzes, and other supporting content in English and Spanish.
● Product No. 1: Final revised and improved package of materials for the online course “From Zero to Expert: Carbon Markets,” including videos, slides, scripts, website text, captions, quizzes, and other related materials, ensuring technical accuracy, consistency of terminology, editorial quality, and an accessible, user-friendly learning experience.
General considerations for all products of this consultancy:
– Draft materials and revision templates will be provided by the coordinator.
– The improvements to the online platform will be made by the UNEP Regional Team of the Observatory.
The final goal of this consultancy is to examinate, do quality check and identify necessary adjustments to the English and Spanish versions of the 13 modules of the online course ´From Zero to Expert: Carbon Markets´ to have them ready to be publicly available on the website of the Observatory Of Carbon Markets for the LAC Region.
Under the direct of UNEP’s Deputy Director for Latin America and the Caribbean, the consultant shall perform the following activities:
1. Improve and finalize the materials of the online course ´From Zero to Expert: Carbon Markets´, including, videos, slide decks, website text, scripts, captions, assessments quizzes, and other supporting content in English and Spanish.
2. Participate in meetings and activities to ensure that the adjustments are done.
3. Coordinate with the communicator and web developer of the Regional Observatory for how to make the adjustments.
