Our Institute for Climate Resilience (ICR) is looking for a new position of Climate Resilience Researcher, located in Venice, responsible for contributing to in the ongoing international/European research projects in the field of risk governance, disaster resilience, civil protection, disaster risk reduction, and climate adaptation.
The Climate Resilience Researcher will be involved in the ongoing international/European research projects in the field of risk governance, disaster resilience, civil protection, disaster risk reduction, and climate adaptation.
The Climate Resilience Researcher is responsible of:
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis in the field of multi and systemic risk governance.
- Assist in the development of innovative frameworks and methodologies to assess and evaluate disaster and climate risks.
- Conduct risk management capabilities assessments to identify resilience pathways.
- Assist in the development of policy recommendations for better risk governance/climate resilience and evidence-informed decision-making processes.
- Support stakeholders’ engagement initiatives to strengthen the science-policy interface and promote cross-sectoral collaboration among key actors in the field of DRR/CCA.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external partners to design and implement EU-funded projects focused on risk governance and climate resilience.
