Job brief
As the Communication Coordinator, you will play a key role in shaping how we communicate ERS’s mission of ecosystem restoration. You’ll manage content across various platforms, engage with stakeholders, and ensure our messaging is clear, consistent, and impactful.
Responsibilities
Digital Communication and Brand Management
– Assist in developing and implementing communications strategies and campaigns aligned with ERS’s goals and brand identity.
– Build and manage ERS’s content calendar.
– Create and publish content such as articles and social media posts, for platforms including our blog, LinkedIn (ERS and Founders) and newsletter.
Media Projects
– Oversee the creation of long-form content to clearly explain technical concepts related to our Standard, making them accessible to diverse audiences.
– Curate the content creation for ERS’s Project Portfolio, an upcoming section on the website that showcases ERS-certified restoration projects. Collect interviews, recordings, and stories from project developers, and coordinate video and photography projects with local photographers and filmmakers.
– Host regular webinars, surveys and public comment periods to inform stakeholders on key changes to the standard and methodologies.
Within one month, you will gain a clear understanding of our work, Standard, Methodologies, and the requirements for project certification. You will also assist in developing our 2025 communication roadmap.
Within three months, you will have become an expert on our products and R&D projects, enabling you to communicate about our Standard with diverse audiences effectively.
Within six months, you will coordinate communication initiatives to highlight ERS-certified restoration projects.
