1. Climate Services Readiness Tool Redesign
– Support the revision of the “Climate Services for Health” Readiness assessment tool redesign process, consisting of:
i. Current State: An analysis of the current state of the content and tool interface, including identification of gaps based on evolving services and feedback from active or relevant users. Feedback gathered through in-person engagement with NMHS Climate Service for Health projects and informational interviews with key actors.
ii. Recommended Changes: Draft a plan for tool re-design based on content feedback and research of successful similar interfaces.
– Coordinate collaboration with partnering NMHS and RCCs for feedback and testing.
2. Digital Health Market-Shaping Analysis
– Develop a foundational model that consists of a representative sample dataset of entities in the climate and health information system domains.
– Draft and finalize a market-shaping report and accompanying manuscript which identify existing key players in each domain of climate information systems, digital health, and C&H applications of artificial intelligence, and articulate drivers of demand, value creators, use cases, market sizing, risks and untapped opportunities moving forward. Incorporate insights on emerging markets for climate and health digital products, including challenges and opportunities at the implementation level, vis-à-vis engagement with climate intelligence, digital health, climate information systems, and artificial intelligence communities.
– Propose and develop mock-ups for new digital health section of Clima-Health Portal.
– Support planning for Hackathon on Climate and Health information Services with cooperating partners.
3. Digital Health and Climate use-case development
– Assess and propose project plan for pilot opportunities that test the Digital Adaptation Kit for two use-cases (Heat-Alert Warning System (HHAS) and Climate-Health Data Unification for Dengue (CHUD)), in coordination with WHO Digital Health Team.
– Assist with publication of Digital Adaptation Kit and related activities.
