Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will support various environmental projects by conducting fieldwork, data collection, and analysis. This role involves working closely with our team of scientists and engineers to deliver high-quality results for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct environmental fieldwork, including soil, water, and air sampling.
Utilize ArcGIS and CAD software to produce high-quality maps, site plans, and reports.
Perform environmental monitoring and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations.
Analyze and interpret field data for environmental assessments and reports.
Ensure field equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
Document field activities and prepare detailed, accurate reports.
Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure project success.

Minimum Qualifications

3 years for Consulting Industry experience
Proficiency in ArcGIS for mapping
Experience with CAD software for drafting and site planning.
Strong background in environmental fieldwork, including sampling and monitoring.
Knowledge of environmental regulations and best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in various outdoor conditions.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to field sites as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Environmental Technology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Certifications in field sampling or safety (e.g., WHMIS, First Aid).
