Education
PhD degree in meteorology, oceanography or any related discipline
A PhD and work experience in meteorology/oceanography will be considered an asset
Essential Knowledge and Professional Experience
Advanced knowledge in high-level computer languages (especially FORTRAN) and experience with UNIX/LINUX environments, scripting languages (bash, Python …) and debugging tools.
Experience performing process-based analysis with climate model outputs and observations. Experience analysing high-resolution data will be an asset.
Experience in using HPC architectures and parallel programming will be valued.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., SVN or Git) will be valued.
