We are now looking to engage a qualified and experienced local legal consultant for supporting in development of Concept Note and Drafting Instructions for a climate change framework law of Jamaica that will align with international good practices, national policies, and local context of Jamaica as well as with its international related commitments.
Scope of Work
Based in Jamaica the Consultant must be conversant with the opportunities, challenges, and risks associated with environment and climate change policies both at a local and international level.
WFD is interested in a Legal Consult with substantial and significant experience of drafting strategies, policies, and legislation in Jamaica and with expertise in engaging with diverse stakeholders and co-facilitating consultations.
