A PhD, awarded within the previous five years.
The overall aim of the project is to detect climate change impacts on sport, forecast future impacts, and improve understanding of effective adaptation options. The project will also focus on co-developing research with sport decision-makers to improve climate action in sport.
Candidates will be encouraged to develop their own research ideas within the goals of the project and this can be across a variety of sports. Research is focused on sport events and participants at all levels from amateur to professional.
