Joining a growing team. The Programmes Manager will work closely with the Chief of Staff to help plan, implement, expand, and improve the programmes of work. They will be expected to hit the ground running, lead a small team, and oversee diverse projects and processes. Specific responsibilities include:

Manage the programmes to deliver the three streams (outreach, capacity building, and community building activities), especially grants and workshops;

Supervise the programme officers, including currently 2.5 full-time equivalent employees;

Support continuously the improvement of programmatic work, including the development and implementation of appropriate processes, guidance and tools;

Help set long-term and annual programmatic plans (including budgets), objectives and key results;

Manage relationships with volunteers;

Support fundraising, communication, and reporting activities as required;

If possible, provide expert support to the funded research teams.
