We’re looking for an IT boffin who has experience in the flexibility market and embedded knowledge of the renewable energy industry.

Our client is looking for an innovator, a solutions-driven individual that can see the potential in an idea before it is even fully conceptualised. Please note that this role is primarily remote but may require some travel into London.

The role:

You would play a critical role in both customer and prospect success by conducting technical discovery qualifications, making architectural recommendations, delivering product demonstrations and PoCs, and troubleshooting technical configuration issues.

Special Requirements
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS – Bachelors degree in IT/software related field EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS – Experience with cloud technologies including iPaas, Saas applications, cloud infrastructure – Technical experience with web service technologies, enterprise, messaging, integration architecture patterns (APIs, SOA, ESB, BPM etc.) – Experience with trading platforms and underlying technology highly advantageous RESPONSIBILITIES – Engage proactively with potential customers and participate in pre-sales activities such as product demonstrations, proof of concept (POC) deployments, and technical discussions – Provide technical expertise and guidance to the sales team throughout the sales process, including creating sales collateral, drafting proposals, and responding to requests for information (RFIs) and requests for proposals (RFPs) – Collaborate closely with the product development and engineering teams to understand the technical aspects of the SaaS solution and translate these into the product’s value proposition, addressing customer pain points – Contribute to the continuous improvement of our client’s products by making technical contributions and providing field feedback to Product Marketing and Engineering – Establish best practices, documentation, and KPIs to support the growth of the pre-sales and broader commercial team as the company scales internationally – Ensure compliance with our client’s information security management system and applicable legislation and regulations SKILLS – Strong presentation skills – Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – Highly analytical approach to problem solving
