Your tasks and responsibilities
- You will assist in one or multiple projects in the areas of renewable energy, energy efficiency and sustainable transport policies and markets across Africa, Asia, and Latin America & the Caribbean
- Energy and transport sector integration
- Technical and political solutions for the energy and transport transition
- Subnational energy policies in Mexico, Germany, Brazil, Australia, and the USA
- Financial and policy instruments to “de-risk” sustainable energy investments
- Energy access, mini-grids and SHS business models and finance structuring
- Energy policies and targets as part of climate (NDC) and development (SDG) commitments
Your profile
- Advanced student in Energy Management, Finance, Policy, Economics – or a related field,
- Enrolled in a training or study at a legally registered school or university for which it is compulsory to undertake an internship,
- Superb writing skills and excellent oral and written command of English are absolutely indispensable; knowledge of a foreign language can be a plus, depending on the project,
- Strong research capabilities and analytical skills,
- Capacity to work independently,
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills,
- Team player,
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines,
- Good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications,
- Knowledge of additional design/publishing software would be considered an advantage,
