The overall project aims to align the textile and garment industry in Bangladesh with EU sustainability requirements and anticipate its effects to enable a competitive position in the global market, which would benefit the sustainable economic development of the country and the livelihoods and possibilities of workers and entrepreneurs.
The objective is to implement project measures that contribute to climate mitigation at the factory level, with a specific focus on reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
Qualifications required
University degree (‘master’s,) in Natural Sciences, Environmental Management, Environmental Engineering, Business and Administration, Production Management and Production Systems or any related field.
Knowledge of English, B2-level in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages or equivalent.
Professional experience required
- 5 years of professional experience in the sector of environmental management in industrial production.
- 3 years of professional experience in the sector of decarbonization, energy efficiency, climate action or equivalent.
- 3 years of professional experience in the sector of environmental management in textile industrial production within the last 10 years
- 3 years of professional experience in textile production within the last 10 years.
- 3 years of professional experience in the sector of production engineering within the last 10 years.
- 3 years of professional experience in the sector of environmental auditing in the production sector within the last 10 years.
